We know you’ve put loads of time (and probably sh**loads of hard earned brass razoos) into making it the most heartfelt celebration of your love for each other AND an epic party that all your guests will rave about years later. That’s why you can trust that we’ll see you and raise you when it comes to putting ALL of the time, effort and creative energy into making sure we capture every magic moment and preserve it on film. When you look back on your 10th anniversary, we want you to feel those exact butterflies you had when saying your vows, we want you to still shed a tear at your dad’s speech, and to feel the energy of your friends cutting up the dance floor… basically, feel all the feels all over again in a way that’s really only possible with a damn good wedding video. And we won’t rest till we get the job done.
About
Back in 2015 we decided to take our passion for telling stories and making films that were beautiful yet unexpected to the next level and we started CloudHerd in our home, the Blue Mountains. Our goal was (and still is!) to create bespoke, stunning wedding videos that capture everything that makes a couple and their big day special.
We now have a small team of equally passionate, creative and general all round legends who love making videos as much as we do. We are based in the Blue Mountains but you can find us adventuring (I mean working) in Byron Bay and Northern NSW, in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley Region, out West in Mudgee and Orange, down on the South Coast of NSW and throughout the Southern Highlands or close to home in Sydney. We also have filmed awesome weddings abroad in New Zealand and interstate throughout Australia. So yeah, we will come to you wherever you are!

We’ve realised couples are looking for a few important features in wedding cinematography packages.
We offer these options in three simple packages: The Indie, The Blockbuster and The Epic.
The Indie
Our super low-key stealth package, with one cinematographer.
8-hours coverage with a highly edited short film set to a great track that captures your day and full coverage of your ceremony and speeches. The Indie is perfect if you want more money to spoil yourself on your honeymoon.
The Blockbuster
For those who want their wedding film to be a cinematic experience.
10-hours coverage, an 8 minute highlight film with voice-overs from the day, social media edit, extended rough cut and full coverage of your speeches and ceremony. The Blockbuster is our most popular package.
The Epic
Designed to ensure you can remember almost every second of your wedding.
12-hours coverage, 3 separate films of various lengths as well as multi-cam edits of both your ceremony and the speeches! The Epic is the ultimate package for remembering every moment and saving memories to last a lifetime.

WHAT IS WORKING WITH CLOUDHERD LIKE?
In one word: Easy. We know you guys have enough on your plate just trying to figure out the seating arrangements, so we do everything in our power to make sure you don’t have to worry for one minute about your wedding video. We want you to have fun and enjoy yourselves! From experience, we’ve come to understand the big things and little things that go into making a truly amazing wedding video – from getting the right angles, to being in the right spot for the most important moments to dealing with any hiccups that might occur like when Mother Nature doesn’t play ball. Basically, we got you.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR APPROACH TO FILM MAKING?
Adventurous, unexpected, some ninja moves and lots of happy tears. We’ve got all the gadgets and tech and we know how to use them. But don’t worry, there’ll be no cameras up in your grill (or your guests), and no stress. Just an uncompromisingly beautiful film at the end of it all that perfectly captures the energy, magic and vibe of the two of you and the day you shared.
DO YOU TAKE PHOTOS AS WELL?
Our philosophy is ‘do one thing and do it great’, so we focus solely on being the best videographers we can be. But reach out to us and we can recommend some awesome photographers for you.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET OUR FINAL FILM?
Back at our studio is where we do our incredibly detailed editing work to ensure we capture not only the vibe of you guys and your wedding, but also add unique creative aspects that make your film dreamy and special. We aim to get the film back to you in three months, but sometimes things take longer and it this is the case, we will keep you updated on the progress.

Look, we admit that when it comes to holding it together while editing your vows, we’re not great. But when it comes to making knock-it-outta-the-park wedding videos, that’s our thing. Your film is guided by you as a couple so no two films are the same, because no couple is the same. Maybe you guys chase the sun and don’t take life too seriously, Chloe & Brendan. Or maybe you guys are classic, old world charm personified, like Chloe & Ben. Or perhaps you’re inspired by art house flicks set to cool tracks like Emma & Phil. Whoever your guys are as a couple, that is what we will capture and amplify, so the story we create will be uniquely yours.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
We sure do! While we’re based in the Blue Mountains NSW, our videography packages include 100km free travel. This covers Sydney, Central Coast (as far as Gosford), the South Coast NSW (as far as Wollongong), the Southern Highlands and Western NSW (as far as Orange). Outside this, we charge per km, but of course, we can always chat details to create a custom package. We LOVE to travel so please reach out with any special requests!
IN THAT CASE, WILL YOU PLAY NICE WITH OUR PHOTOGRAPHER? I HAVE HEARD SOME HORROR STORIES!
We get heaps of recommendations from photographers for one main reason – they LOVE working with us! We see it like this: we are all on the same team trying to do the best job we can for you guys. While we don’t take photos, we do understand photography and are ultra-aware of what your photographer’s need. That’s why we believe in having open communication with them on the day, and why we regularly check in with them before we jump in to shoot something – so we don’t ruin any shots, and because we don’t want an awkward crew meal!
