Vanessa runs a catering company. We’d worked with her and vet-by-day fiancé Bronwyn at weddings and knew that their food was seriously good. Now, if anyone knows Taku, they will know the way he feels about food and, more broadly, about all people who appreciate when it’s good. It’s love. That is not an exaggeration. So in his eyes, a couple of foodie goddesses asking us to film their wedding was a good omen. Most of the time, we roll our eyes at Taku’s weird food obsessions but on this occasion, he was right on the money.

Set on the stunning backdrop of Bells at Killcare on the Central Coast, this wedding delivered the goods. The styling was stunning, the dance floor was pumping and yep, the food was excellent.

It was almost too good to be true when they then told us “if there is anything you have ever wanted to do when editing a wedding film, do it in ours!” and gave us complete creative freedom to do our thang. A total dream!
